National Principals Month: Kelly Adams
To celebrate National Principals Month, we’re sharing some fun facts about our amazing school administrators. Today you’ll learn more about Mrs. Kelly Adams, principal of Golden Meadow Elementary School.
Here’s the inside scoop on Mrs. Adams:
🦁 She has been a principal for ten years.
🦁 She says the most rewarding part of being a principal is building relationships with teachers, students, parents, and stakeholders, supporting teacher development and shaping a supportive learning environment in order to create a positive school culture, motivating students and teachers, seeing students learning and growing for a positive impact on the entire school community.
🦁 Her favorite subject in school was math because the challenge of working through a math problem and arriving at a correct answer provides a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
🦁 Her favorite school lunch when she was in school was mashed potatoes and chicken.
🦁 She dreams of going to Italy.
🦁 Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her grandson and reading.
🦁 Fun Fact: She has been working on her family genealogy for the past ten years.
